The 4th graders presented the wands and took a little time to blow bubbles with the Kindergarten students. Each bubble wands was designed by the fourth graders based on interviews the students did earlier in the year. Fun was had by all!

๐โจ O is for OUTER SPACE in our ABC Countdown! โจ๐
For "O" Day, Mrs. Crepsโ class blasted off into a day full of fun and imagination! ๐๐ช Students designed and decorated their very own space helmets before pretending to launch into space while watching an exciting rocket launch countdown! ๐
We also had a blast wearing our fun space glasses, exploring with Cosmic Dough, and coloring our own outer space puzzles. ๐๐ฝ
The space adventure filled the classroom with creativity, laughter, and lots of future astronauts today!

Mrs. Seymourโs class has been hard at work creating bubble wands for Mr. Caldwell and Mrs. Everettโs Kindergarten classes. The 4th grade students got to try the bubble wands they made to make sure they worked and were sturdy enough to hold up for 5 and 6 year olds! Redesigning happened when the students got back to the classroom and will present to the classes on June 2nd.

Ms. Jameson, Mr. Herrick and 5th Grade students raised salmon this spring in classroom-created habitats and, in mid-May, released them into the river. The learning connected to this project included studying the life cycle of salmon, the environments salmon need to survive, why salmon are critical to the riverโs ecosystem, and planning for release day.

The Salmon Project with Mrs. Noyesโ class came to a conclusion with the release of the salmon into the river. The project began months ago, and the students watched the salmon grow and develop before being released back into their natural habitat. It was a wonderful way to spend a school day learning through a hands-on experience!

Mrs. Kentโs class made new flags for our country as if we were the Patriots during the American Revolution. The kiddos had some fun during Arts and Academic Night where they made their parents try to guess which flag they created based on the design and rationale. Most parents did really well!! All families had a great laugh ๐คญ
