Congratulations to Margaret Chase Smith Community School's Winter Community Champion, Joanne Dubois!
Ms Joanne is an incredible asset to everyone here at Margaret Chase! She has an endless amount of knowledge and connections with not only students but their parents and families as well.
Ms Joanne spends her days scheduling meetings between educators and families, responding to record requests, fielding phone calls about student needs, and walking down forgotten lunch boxes, shoes, ski pants, and more to students' classrooms to make sure they have what they need to be successful. The "small" things she takes care of make the lives of everyone she helps that much easier. Not only does she do all of this - she is an absolute joy to be around - a genuine, lovely person that we are all lucky to know.
